The Nordic Bakery & Coffee House, a fixture on Tyler Street in Downtown Hollywood for over seven years, and known for its unique selection of specialties baked with dough imported from Denmark, has moved to a new, larger location at 1801 N. Young Circle.
“The new location, on the north side of Young Circle on the ground floor of the Radius Hollywood and directly across the street from the ArtsPark, offers more space and greater visibility,” said Runar Einarsrud, who owns and operates the shop with his wife, Pia.
“It’s right at the corner, and there are so many new things happening in the area, the new hotels, a lot of foot traffic — we saw it as a great opportunity,” said Runar.
In the new location, the Nordic Bakery & Coffee House offers an array of specialties, including over 12 varieties of Danish pastries— known as Wienerbrød in the Scandinavian countries - including cinnamon swirl, lemon cheesecake and Belgian chocolate; plus, gourmet coffees including cappuccino, macchiato, caffe latte, espresso, tea, chai and other drinks. The menu will soon be expanded to include sandwiches, salads and more.
Operating hours are 7 am to 3 pm daily, with hours expanding once the new location is more established. Dine-in, takeout and delivery are available now, with catering and other services coming soon.
