Marcela Jaramillo's latest eatery, Lima Peru Restaurant at 1832 Harrison Street, is serving up Peruvian and seafood specialties, and is already receiving rave reviews, earning an impressive 4.8 out of 5 stars on Google.

Jaramillo, a lifelong entrepreneur who grew up in the food and beverage industry in Peru, has been a resident and business owner in Hollywood since arriving in the U.S. 15 years ago. She is working with her husband and business partner, Benjamin, as well as a few of her nieces and nephews, making Lima Peru Restaurant truly a family business.

"I love Hollywood," she said. "It feels kind of similar to my country: the beautiful weather, close to the beach, close to everything; we have it all here."

Lima Peru Restaurant offers a full range of Peruvian specialties, like Lomo or Chicken Saltado ($18.95 and $15.95) and Potatoes or Yucca Huancaina ($7.95), a selection of ceviche ($14.95 - $28.95) and a huge range of seafood from Spicy Shrimp ($19.95) to Crispy Whole Red Snapper ($42.95, including a side dish). Also offered are pasta and vegetarian dishes, soups, kids' meals, and family-style combination dishes designed for sharing.

The restaurant also offers wine, beer and a full bar. The 4,000 square foot dining area has tables spaced out for proper social distancing, and will be available for private events. They're open seven days a week from noon until midnight, and occasionally feature live entertainment. Take-out and delivery are also available.
